Public Relations Assistant
My job at Liberty was very interesting and certainly a great transitional
job, or something to get me back to PA. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to be the sole PR person in our main office
during the summer of 2001. My supervisor was out on maternity leave, thus leaving me the responsibility of the entire department.
During my summer, I was in charge of the 2001 Motor Trend International Design Contest. There was so much to do and made
what would have been a normally slow summer very busy.
Unfortunately, due to the slowed economy and a drop in attendance at the shows, my position was eliminated and I had to leave
Liberty. Those are the disadvantages of being one of the last to be hired in a big company.
