Film Title (Year of Release) [# of stars I have given the film]
Brief desciption of why I rated the film as I did.

*****

Good Will Hunting (1997) [4.5]
I loved this film. A different concept and very well done. Definitely worthy of all of its praise.

****

Air Force One (1997) [4]
Awesome movie. Harrison Ford was very believable as the pres. Highly recommended.

As Good As It Gets (1997) [4]
This was a very good film. I think it had a great story, the perfect romance and Jack was fantastic.

Boogie Nights (1997) [4]
Who knew the porn industry could be so bad??? More stars would have been given had it not been for a 6 foot prosthetic penis.

Men In Black (1997) [3.5]
Very cool film. Funny and very well done. Another Will Smith hit.

My Best Friend's Wedding (1997) [3.5]
I truly enjoyed this film. It was one of Julia Robert's funnier films.

Suicide Kings (1997) [3.5]
Pretty good film, but very dark at times. Dennis Leary added some much needed comic relief.

Titanic (1997) [4]
Great epic. I think this movie will withstand the tests of time and forever be a favorite.

Absolute Power (1997) [2.5]
This movie was so-so. I like Clint Eastwood in it, he performed quite well.

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) [3]
The beginning of a legend. Very funny and another film worthy of its sequels.

Con Air (1997) [3]
Very action packed. Overall, decent film.

Face Off (1997) [3]
John Travolta and Nic Cage to me sounds like box office poop, but this was actually a good film!

The Full Monty (1997) [3]
A cute film. Another suprising topic, but it is still pretty good.

G.I. Jane (1997) [3]
Good film. Shows the roughness of woman who join the military. Great performance by Demi Moore.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) [3]
Certainly not the most terrifying movie ever, but still pretty good.

Kiss the Girls (1997) [3]
Okay film. Definitely could have been better given the cast.

Liar, Liar (1997) [3]
Very funny movie. I truly enjoyed this film.

National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation (1997) [3]
The dumbest of the bunch, but still so dumb it is funny.

Private Parts (1997) [3]
A very intimate look into the life of Howard Stern. Suprisingly, a pretty good film.

Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997) [3]
Goofy film, but fun to watch.

Scream 2 (1997) [3]
Equally as good as the first and the second.

Starship Troopers (1997) [3]
This will probably be the rating that makes everyone question my other reviews. I liked this film, despite what everyone else says about it.

An American Werefolf in Paris (1997) [2]
Saw this at the theatre. Immediately demand a full refund. Not a good film.

Breakdown (1997) [2]
This could have been a good film. Unfortunately, it wasn't.

In and Out (1997) [1.5]
Why was this film made? To prove a point, to make a statement? Nope. To drain two hours of my soul from life? Yep!

Trial and Error (1997) [2]
Not funny. Not worth seeing at the theatre. Why didn't someone tell me?!?!?
